PCI Federal Acquires IT Services Firm SuprTEK

PCI Federal, an Alabama-based 8(a) enterprise owned by the Poarch Creek Indians, has acquired Superlative Technologies to expand its IT capabilities in the government contracting sector.

“This acquisition of SuprTek will allow us opportunities to provide more technological expertise for our federal clients and other leaders in sophisticated industries that support our government,” Stephanie Bryan, Poarch Creek Indian Tribal chair and CEO, said in a statement published Tuesday.

SuprTEK Leadership Team Under PCI Federal

SuprTEK CEO Brandon Park and President TK Gil will continue to oversee the company as it integrates into the tribally owned GovCon enterprise’s Washington business office in Reston, Virginia.

CEO Nick Dunn and Executive Vice President Mark Henderson manage PCI Federal’s Washington area office, which oversees joint ventures and professional services limited liability companies that support federal government clients.

“I believe the acquisition of SuprTEK by PCI Federal will further strengthen the Tribe’s campaign to grow its role in critical missions across the U.S. Federal Agencies and the DoD. We are proud to become an entity that will support growth for years to come,” said Park.

What Does SuprTEK Do?

SuprTEK provides cybersecurity, digital modernization, software factories/DevSecOps, big data analytics, health IT and enterprise integrated services for the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community and other federal agencies.

The company is appraised at Maturity Level 3 under the Capability Maturity Model Integration program and holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 20000-1:2018 and ISO 27001:2022 certifications.
