Arlington Capital Partners has established GRVTY, its new platform company that will provide defense technology systems to meet the national security priorities of the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community and the Department of Homeland Security.
The Washington, D.C.-area private investment firm said Wednesday GovCon industry veteran Katie Selbe has been named CEO of GRVTY.
“At a time when the country is facing an increasingly complex national security environment, it is more important than ever for decisionmakers to receive rapid and trusted intelligence and analysis,” Selbe said. “GRVTY was created to deliver American dominance from outer space to cyberspace, and I look forward to delivering critical situational awareness to support our customers’ national security missions.”

GRVTY is a defense technology company with more than $100 million in revenue and over 325 employees across primary locations in Virginia, Maryland and St. Louis.
The company provides automated intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and targeting platforms, software and data offerings to help address complex national security mission challenges facing U.S. government customers. It also offers advanced capabilities in signals intelligence, cyber and geospatial intelligence.
Katie Selbe’s Career Background
According to her LinkedIn profile, Selbe most recently served as chief operating officer of Eqlipse Technologies, which is now part of BlueHalo.
Her industry career included senior leadership positions at BlueHalo, Alion Science and Technology and Northrop Grumman.
The Georgia Institute of Technology graduate started her career as a systems engineer at Frontier Technology.
Sarah Otchet’s Appointment as CFO
In a LinkedIn post published Wednesday, industry leader Sarah Otchet shared that she took on the role of chief financial officer at GRVTY.
Otchet previously served as CFO at Eqlipse, Blue Halo business Asymmetrik and Next Century. Her career also included senior finance roles at CACI International and SAIC.
