Andrea Inserra, an executive vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, was personally presented with the 2025 Wash100 Award by Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson.
The Wash100 Award was founded by Garrettson in 2014 to pay tribute to the most influential personalities in the government contracting sector. The 100 executives from the public and private sector honored with the award were recognized for their recent accomplishments in the past year as well as their potential to further make a significant impact in the industry.
“Andrea’s first Wash100 win comes at a pivotal moment — she’s about to take the reins as president of Booz Allen’s global defense sector after 26 years with the firm,” said Garrettson. “A dedicated leader and strong advocate for veterans, Andrea has played a key role in supporting Air Force, Space Force and NASA clients. With her deep expertise and commitment to national security, Andrea is more than ready for this next chapter and we are planting our flag by awarding this Wash100 — Andrea is worth the long-term investment,” he added.
Inserra is one of the newest members of the prestigious group of Wash100 Award winners. She earned her first award for her crucial role in establishing Booz Allen Hamilton as a reliable partner for both defense and civilian organizations.
Inserra further solidified her Wash100 win by championing various defense and space initiatives, including the enhancement of cybersecurity measures and development of systems engineering and sensing systems for space-based missile warning systems. In addition, the industry veteran spearheaded digital modernization efforts, including the integration of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, cloud computing and secure data analytics to enhance the operations of defense and intelligence agencies.
Congratulations to Inserra on her first Wash100 Award! Executive Mosaic is proud to welcome you to this elite group of honorees.
