Unveiling SCRIPTS: Empowering Supply Chain Risk Management

Have you heard about the upcoming General Services Administration (GSA) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) titled SCRIPTS—Supply Chain Risk Illumination Professional Tools and Services.

Unveiling SCRIPTS

The SCRIPTS BPA aims to empower federal agencies with comprehensive visibility into their federal supply chain, ensuring the health of industry suppliers and mitigating potential risks. By establishing core, multi-component supply chain risk illumination tools supported by professional analytic services, this BPA will help combat vulnerabilities such as fraud, abuse, and adversarial exploitation. It enables holistic screening and vetting of vendors and their associated networks, guaranteeing the government’s engagement with reputable, financially secure, and operationally sound suppliers.

Proposed NAICS Codes for SCRIPTS

The GSA is proposing specific Special Item Numbers (SINs) to be associated with the SCRIPTS RFQ. Holding one of the following SINs from the list below will likely grant you access, but keep in mind that the list may be subject to change based on feedback received in response to the RFI:

SIN 54151ECOM – Electronic Commerce and Subscription Services
SIN 54151S – Information Technology Professional Services
SIN 541614SVC – Supply and Value Chain Management
SIN 541611 – Management and Financial Consulting, Acquisition and Grants Management Support, and Business Program and Project Management Services
SIN 541990 RISK – Risk Assessment and Mitigation Services
SIN 518210C – Cloud Computing and Cloud Related IT Professional Services

Access the RFI here.

Expected RFQ Timeline

While a firm date has not been announced, the GSA anticipates that the SCRIPTS BPA Request for Quote (RFQ) will be due in the fourth quarter of this fiscal year, specifically between July and September.

Competing for the SCRIPTS BPA

SCRIPTS will be a GSA Schedule BPA, requiring your company to hold a GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Contract, also known as a GSA Schedule, to compete. Moreover, your GSA MAS Contract must extend beyond the BPA’s period of performance. The total ordering period for SCRIPTS is ten years, with a 5-year base and a 5-year option. If your current GSA MAS Contract expires within the next ten years and lacks extension options, securing a new GSA MAS Contract is crucial for participation.
