Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson personally presented the 2025 Wash100 Award to MITRE President and CEO Mark Peters during a recent meeting.
Established in 2014 by Garrettson, the Wash100 Award honors the most significant and impactful executives shaping the government contracting industry. These esteemed individuals who make the prestigious Wash100 list are recognized for their vision, leadership, innovation and accomplishments. Market-Leading Initiatives in Tech Areas
Peters is a first-time recipient of the Wash100 Award, which recognizes his leadership and market-leading efforts in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and national defense to support customers and meet national security priorities.
“Mark is stepping into a decades-long legacy of excellence at MITRE. The accomplished executive’s first Wash100 win is a recognition of the gravitas he brings to the CEO position,” Garrettson stated. “Mark’s previous experience at world-class laboratories and firms like Battelle, Argonne and Los Alamos situate him as uniquely qualified him in science, technology and national security.”
