The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing’s Insitu subsidiary a $102.3 million contract modification to supply 21 RQ-21A Blackjack and 47 ScanEagle unmanned aircraft systems.
Contract Scope
The Department of Defense said Tuesday the modification includes the procurement of associated payloads, support equipment, turrets, spares, training and tools for both UAS.
Insitu will deliver the items and related support services to the Navy, foreign military sales customers and other international business partners.
The majority of contract work will occur in Bingen, Washington, and the rest will be performed outside the continental U.S.
Naval Air Systems Command will obligate funds upon issuance of individual orders and expects work to run through June 2026.
The service made the contract action under a $160 million contract awarded in 2022.
